My computer had a bad hard drive so now that I have it back I'm starting over with that. The Geek Squad backed up my files but I can't get them off the discs. No biggie-I didn't have much important on them but now I've had to re-find all my favorite, re-download adeline's education and games, re-transfer pics from josh's computer and re-organize them, re-update things like internet and media player, re-do my punch software and re-design my house(maybe haven't decided if I want to go through that trouble), re-download my music, re-set all my settings. We also have to re-set up the wireless but haven't figured out what we're doing wrong yet-cause its NOT WORKING!
Also I decided to rejoin myspace. I missed not being connected to local bands and I have to admit myspace can be alittle fun. So I've had to re-find bands and friends to add-and re-do all the profile settings. Of course when I rejoined I just had to check my old classmates from High School and College. There were no familar names or faces in high school-not suprising since I only hung out with one person and high school for me was...unimportant...it was like something I had to do to get on with the rest of my life but I didn't participate in it. In college though I had quite a few friends and lived on campus and participated. But I didn't find many people I recognized from there either. But most the friends I kept from then don't play on myspace.
I'm already wanting to get my hair re-done too. I liked it for the first couple of days-the color is still fine-but the cut reminds me of me in jr.high. Fuzzy and layered and sort of curly but not quite. So I just wear it in a haphazard pony tail like some stressed out college student.
Speaking of college-I want to re-apply. Still not sure of what to go into. There is lots I want to do but I have to figure out whats best for where my life is at and where its headed.
And of course there is the house which needs to be cleaned and re-cleaned. Except for those areas I totally ignore for months -not so much with the re-cleaning of those.
Then there is the snow and cold, then the warmth, then the re-snowing and cold. We don't have definite ends and beginnings to our seasons. It all kind of blends together. As much as I've grown to like this area and believe that I'm happy as long as I'm surrounded by loved ones, I still think maybe a little more happiness would manifest if I were somewhere warmer-just a few degrees, a little more humidity-not too much. My skin would feel good, we could garden longer, we wouldn't have to wear slippers and sweater in our own house year round-But I'm re-iterating which really just sounds like complaining so I'll quit now.
